Hi, and welcome to my GreenGeeks Hosting Review. I recently purchased a Green Geeks Hosting account myself and I’ve setup several WordPress websites on it. I’ve also transferred websites to GreenGeeks for 5 of my clients, and have contacted Green Geeks tech support on many occasions for various reasons. I’ll detail my experiences for better and for worse below.

Scam: to swindle someone by means of a trick It takes a certain kind of person to get interested in Internet Marketing. Most of us are opportunity seekers looking to make lots of money as quickly as possible. I wouldn’t say we’re a greedy bunch, rather that we’re highly money motivated. Unfortunately that makes Internet Marketers the perfect target for make-money-online scams. Many of these scams masquerade as helpful tools or IM courses, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the person who created the tool or course is tricking you to get money. While the FTC is…

Today I want to talk about the skills that are required to be a successful affiliate marketer. Plenty of people get started in affiliate marketing without any of these skills, however I’d guess that the vast majority of successful affiliate marketers have all of these skills. Don’t despair if you don’t have all – or any. The great thing about the internet is that it’s full of information, and it is possible to learn everything below from the comfort of your home.

Based on the letter I received from Amazon.com and the information I’ve read on the Performance Marketing Association website, this is going to happen – and happen soon This has happened. Etax laws, or so-called nexus laws state that if a business operates in a state then they must collect sales tax in that state. Operations include affiliates, so to avoid collecting taxes companies such as Amazon.com and Overstock.com cancel their affiliate programs in nexus law states.

Hi and welcome to my Hostgator Review. I’ve been hosting my websites with Hostgator for over a year now, and I’ve been very happy with their service. I’ve also used Bluehost, Godaddy, Network Solutions, and other smaller hosts, and I’ll compare them below. Hosting is at it’s best when it’s invisible – which is to say when your website works, and works well. If your website is making you money, then good hosting is critical because bad hosting will cost you money due to downtime and slow website performance.

While I make a decent income from other affiliate programs, it’s only recently that I’ve taken an interest in making money with Amazon. I get a lot of questions from clients about making passive income online, and Amazon.com is a great way to start as it’s easy to sign up for the Amazon Affiliate program, and Amazon sales conversion rates are generally very good. That means that a high percentage of the traffic that you send to Amazon will buy a product resulting in YOU getting a commission – and this is largely because people trust Amazon and are comfortable…

I think it’s about time that I reveal one of the ways that I (and many others) make money online, and that’s with product reviews. What exactly does a product review consist of, and how can you use a product review to make online sales? FYI, Product = anything that you have to pay for, so it can include services and experiences as well as tangible products.

Hi all – so as I tweeted a few days ago I’ve been spending the last couple of weeks playing with the Genesis WordPress Theme Framework and designing my own child theme. I’m happy to say that I’ve built several versions of my own theme, and at some point in the near future will be releasing it on my website. First though – why Genesis and why a Theme Framework?

As you probably know, traffic is the key to success in any business. What you do with that traffic can make or break you, but for the sake of this article let’s focus on how to get traffic in the first place. Sound good? Let’s get started. First things first. What the heck do I know about traffic? If you judge me based on this site it doesn’t look like I know much. RichKent.com generates barely any traffic at the moment – although I plan to change that shortly. The vast majority of my time is spent building traffic to…

If you’ve been using WordPress for a while, you’ve probably had plenty of experience with WordPress Plugins. I explain plugins to my clients by comparing them to options on a car, in the sense that WordPress is a basic car model, and if you want upgraded performance, handling, safety features, etc.. then you add them on – much like Plugins. The major difference (of course) is that it’s much easier to add Plugins to WordPress than options to a car – but the comparison is still relatively valid. Plugins can add powerful new functions to your site, and I spend…

I’ll get to your website shortly, but first things first – how much effort do you put into designing your life? This is a tough question for most of us to answer, because we all know that we’re supposed to put effort into designing the ‘perfect’ life, and yet most of us let life happen and spend more time reacting to life instead. I don’t mean this as a judgement, but rather as an observation. It’s much easier to react, to deal with the here and now, and to take care of issues as they arrive. Planning ahead requires a…
