Hey Justin – I know someone must be buying the programs because people keep making them, but some of the claims are so outlandish I don’t know how anyone believes it. I guess it’s part of our ‘lottery’ mindset, as in these people didn’t have to do any work – they figured out one trick and won the lotto – AND YOU CAN TOO, for only $49.95!!

Hi Rich,
I had to laugh while reading the part of how this person went from living in a van to making millions of dollars. I have seen that and many more online and it always causes a red flag to go up in my mind.

Yes that statement you mentioned not all can make money online is true in many cases and you have to show some consistency along with some patience to see results.

Treat internet marketing as a business and handle it like any other offline business to succeed this is what i have learned so far.

Hi Dee, My Amazon affiliate links look different from the link you posted – although you appear to be the author of the book you’re linking to, so perhaps you use a different link? Otherwise, when I’m in Amazon I use the affiliate toolbar (shows when you’re logged in), select ‘link to page’, then copy/paste the code – either text link or a link with the image of the product – onto my site. I don’t have any examples on richkent.com, but that’s the gist of how I get the correct links and it seems to work fine. Good luck!

I write reviews, host authors and introduce books. I have made $.60 from Amazon this year. I think I do a good job with keywords and providing value, all the books can’t be duds…I’m now going through and rechecking all my links to see if my format http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/asin/0977810305/deeswhite-20 is incorrect. It takes you to the product page when clicked upon.

Any thoughts?

but now the list to hostgattor must have a credit card, whereas I do not have a credit card, only have paypal, is there another way to pay for hosting on hostgattor?
